Poly Time is a Samoan-ized version of a Vintage European Clock. Each Samoan word seen relates to the present and reminds us to stay in the now. This piece is about the blending of cultures and learning how to stay true to our cultural roots no matter what our Smart phones and watches tell us. I made this piece to honor our Afakasi relatives who bridge the gaps between cultures and continue to embrace their Polynesian heritage.
